This white form of has narrower petals than the coloured varieties and flowers slightly later. This adaptable variety flowers in autumn in British gardens before dying back to reappear in the spring and once established each stem will produce 6 to 12 of the distinctive crocus-like flowers. Occasionally seedlings produce pale pink flowers.
Sowing advice:
Sow at anytime. Cover with compost or grit 2mm. Deep. Keep moist in a warm spot outside or in a propagator at 15-20 degrees c. Grow on seedlings in 3″ pots. Plant out in good garden soil.
